Intellectual property licensing is complex especially if you are considering patent and/or know how licensing.  The reason being that you have to take into account the Technology Block Exemptions in drafting such licences. Trade mark licences, for instance, require quality provisions.  If you are going to license your product or services in a country, you should have intellectual property protection in that market.  However, you must choose your markets carefully.  Our lawyers can advise you on the best intellectual property strategy to adopt.

Whatever intellectual property licensing deal you choose, you must use well drafted agreements.  In the event of a dispute later on, you would be protected.  The risk is much too high to contract without expressly setting out your legal and commercial requirements in a licence agreement. We can draft such agreements on your behalf.

With regards to our costs, generally we are able to quote fixed costs for drafting standard licensing agreements.
